Daily Marbles is a finite morning ritual: glance at local time, weather and a short news ticker, answer ten timed questions, learn from the explanations, optionally read a horoscope and move for a minute, then close the screen.
No infinite feed
The product is designed to end. The morning ticker is intentionally short and links out to original publishers rather than creating another rabbit hole.
Shared challenge
Every player receives the same official set. One category becomes the Black Marble—the hardest question of that day.
Useful personalization
An optional ZIP supplies local weather and location time. An optional birthday supplies a horoscope and age range without changing the game.
THE PHRASE BEHIND THE BRAND
Keep your marbles.
“Lose your marbles” is an informal, humorous expression for losing clear judgment or the ability to think clearly. Its exact origin is uncertain, though figurative examples appeared in American English around the turn of the twentieth century and may have drawn on the children’s game in which prized marbles could be won or lost.
Daily Marbles turns that idea around: collect useful knowledge, test your memory, and leave the screen with more than you brought to it.
