Daily Marbles is designed to operate with limited personal data. This notice describes the information the founding website may process and the choices available to you. Effective September 3, 2026.
Information stored on your device
Your topic settings, zodiac sign selection, difficulty preferences, completed cards, streak, and access dates are stored primarily in your browser using local storage. This allows the proof of concept to work without requiring an account. Clearing browser data, switching browsers, or changing devices may remove that information.
Email reminders
If you submit an email address for reminders or founding updates, the address and form submission may be processed by Netlify Forms or a later email provider. Email is optional. Messages should include an unsubscribe method when recurring email is activated.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe after checkout is connected. Daily Marbles does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe may process payment, device, fraud-prevention, and contact information under its own privacy terms. A successful checkout may return an email address and payment status so access can be granted.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may process request logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security information to deliver and protect the service. Daily Marbles does not use the separate VisibleIP utility or a visitor’s IP address to choose learning cards.
Analytics
The founding package does not enable analytics until an analytics measurement ID is added in the configuration. If analytics is activated, it may record page views, device information, general location, referral source, and interactions such as card starts or completions. The site does not intentionally send the text of your private settings as advertising profile data.
External sources and links
Some answer explanations link to external sources. Visiting those sites is governed by their privacy practices. Daily Marbles is not responsible for third-party content or data handling.
Children
The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a child and make any purchase.
Your choices
You can use the free activity without creating an account, decline reminder email, clear local browser data, and avoid optional external links. To request deletion of an email submission or ask a privacy question, contact hello@thedailymarbles.com.
Changes
This notice may be updated as accounts, subscriptions, advertising, or additional service providers are introduced. A revised effective date will be posted here.
